A new position has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for a well-known organisation in Willenhall. You will be working as part of a busy accounts team, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries. My client is looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk, who is able to join the business and hit the ground running working under minimal supervision using your own initiative. This is a full time, temporary ongoing position working a 35 hour a week contract Monday to Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm.
The Job Role:
- All aspects of Purchase ledger
- Processing approximately 100 invoices on a daily basis
- Coding, inputting and releasing invoices
- Processing invoices through the Purchase Order System
- Dealing with invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
Experience/ Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience of purchase ledger working as part of a busy accounts team is essential
- You must have excellent attention to detail,
- Previous experience dealing with a high volume of transactions,
- Confident in talking to suppliers over the phone
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
