A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join an established steel stockholding located in Wolverhampton. My client is seeking a good all round administrator, who is an outgoing, enthusiastic individual to work alongside the sales and management team in a small but busy office. The position will involve taking orders and payments over the telephone, tracking orders, dealing with customer queries/complaints and providing information. This a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
The Job Role:
- Working on SAGE based programmes to:
- Convert sales paperwork into delivery notices and invoices
- Performing stock transactions on the computer
- Creating invoices to send by email or post as required
- Dealing with customer on the telephone, by email and in person at reception.
- Taking and recording card payments in person and over the phone
- Booking in good received manually and through the sage system
- Matching supplier invoices to goods received paperwork
- Assisting the sales team with general admin support
- Filling paperwork and maintaining the filing system
- Temporary – Permanent, Monday – Friday – 12.45pm – 5pm
Experience / Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience working in administration
- Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Demonstrate a professional telephone manner
- Must be computer literate, with experience in SAGE is ideal
- Excellent Data Entry skills is essential
- Willing to learn use of bespoke sage system with full training provided
