Administrator

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join an established family business that manufacturer bespoke doors. My client is seeking a good all round administrator, who is an outgoing, enthusiastic individual to work alongside the sales and management team in a small but busy office. The position will involve taking orders and payments over the telephone, tracking orders, dealing with customer queries/complaints and providing information. This a temporary to permanent position for the right person.

THE JOB ROLE

  • Completing all administration
  • Taking orders over the telephone
  • Providing detailed quotations and estimates to customers
  • Process orders onto Sage and issuing order confirmations to customers
  • Processing payments
  • Generating additional sales by offering customers additional or complementary products when placing orders
  • Assist in answering all incoming calls and transferring to the correct person or taking detailed phone messages to pass on
  • Organising diaries and meetings including booking meeting facilities and arranging refreshments
  • Provide support to the Office Manager
  • Managing all post including prioritising and ensuring that correspondence is directed as appropriate
  • Temporary for 4 weeks, Monday – Friday 8am-4.30pm

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years experience working in administration
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Demonstrate a professional telephone manner
  • Must be computer literate, with experience in SAGE is ideal
  • Excellent Data Entry skills is essential
