A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join an established family business that manufacturer bespoke doors. My client is seeking a good all round administrator, who is an outgoing, enthusiastic individual to work alongside the sales and management team in a small but busy office. The position will involve taking orders and payments over the telephone, tracking orders, dealing with customer queries/complaints and providing information. This a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
THE JOB ROLE
- Completing all administration
- Taking orders over the telephone
- Providing detailed quotations and estimates to customers
- Process orders onto Sage and issuing order confirmations to customers
- Processing payments
- Generating additional sales by offering customers additional or complementary products when placing orders
- Assist in answering all incoming calls and transferring to the correct person or taking detailed phone messages to pass on
- Organising diaries and meetings including booking meeting facilities and arranging refreshments
- Provide support to the Office Manager
- Managing all post including prioritising and ensuring that correspondence is directed as appropriate
- Temporary for 4 weeks, Monday – Friday 8am-4.30pm
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years experience working in administration
- Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Demonstrate a professional telephone manner
- Must be computer literate, with experience in SAGE is ideal
- Excellent Data Entry skills is essential
