Customer Service Advisor

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for customer service advisors for an online retail company based in Swinton. They are market leaders in their field and they are looking for 2 people to join the team.


Develops a culture of customer satisfaction through timely and thorough handling of queries and complaints. Works in a fast-paced environment to address customer issues submitted via telephone, email, live chat or instant message.

Customer Service Job Duties:

  • Answers customer support messages via email, telephone, web chat or direct messaging promptly to enhance the customer service experience
  • Use different systems to resolve issues and log customer queries across multiple sales channels
  • Accurately records and logs interaction with customers and updates account information with correct details
  • Keeps sensitive information and financial records private and confidential
  • Works with management to maintain best practices for efficient communication with customers
  • Knowledge of updated company rules and policies to address issues such as returns, faulty merchandise, wrong delivery and delayed delivery to inform customers
  • Address customer questions about new products, services, promotions on sales
  • Meets regularly with team manager to give feedback to help improve customer service culture, response time and tools to improve staff experience
  • Willing to learn from management to properly apply company policy to customer solutions
  • Contributes to bottom lines sales by increasing customer satisfaction
  • Complete tasks inline with company needs

Customer Service Skills and Qualifications:

Good Communication Skill                                         Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment

Customer Service Support Experience                      Attention to Detail

Able to Work as a Team                                             Problem-Solver

  • 1 years experience of working in a customer service environment
  • E-commerce experience would be an advantage

This position is temporary with a look to go permanent next year

Monday – Friday 08:30-17:00, Fridays are WFH!

Company laptop provided
