Electrically qualified and Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required for a large and reputable manufacturer in Telford on their night shift. Excellent Salary available plus excellent overtime rates as well as a great benefits package. Averaging 40 hours a week, this is a key role reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will be required to work with minimal supervision and work proactively to ensure that the facility is maintained to a high standard.
Shift – 12 Hour Shifts – Nights
The role:
- Carry out Electrical and mechanical repair and preventative planned maintenance of all plant including extrusion, rewind and assembly equipment to ensure continued efficient operation
- Carry out servicing and testing of all plant and equipment
- Compliance with company policies and procedures, including hygiene controls
- Respond to emergency breakdowns
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Ensure correct and safe working practices are observed at all times
- Ensure accurate records are maintained
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation including COSHH regulations
- Participate in engineering department projects associated to NPI and Equipment improvement
- Problem Solving chronic process equipment failures
- Carry out any reasonable task requested by management
What you’ll need:
- Electrically biased Maintenance background in an FMCG environment
- C&G Electrical Installation or 18th Edition is advantageous
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work load and site requirements with support and guidance Maintenance Manager
- Proven Engineering background with ideally an Electrical apprenticeship served
