Proactive Personnel is proud to be recruiting for a Trailer Mechanic to join the Engineering Team based at our client’s site in Leighton Buzzard.

Trailer Mechanic Duties

  • Perform trailer repairs, investigating and rectifying trailer defects.
  • Completion of signed service and inspection records
  • Completion of defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements.
  • Prepare trailers for MOT testing

Trailer Mechanic Requirements

  • Minimum of City & Guilds Level 2 in HGV Maintenance or time-served
  • Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment
  • Previous experience within a similar role is a must have.

You will receive

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 06.00 – 16.00

Rate of Pay: £17.50 – £22.50 depending on experience
