HR Advisor

Proactive Personnel are excited to be working with a well-established, thriving manufacturing and distribution company with offices based in Flintshire. My client is currently looking to appoint a HR Advisor to their long standing team on a temp-perm basis.

The successful candidate will come from a strong HR background with full employee lifecycle experience who is able to hit the ground running. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ever-growing company who are going from strength to strength.

HR Advisor Duties –

  • Working closely with department managers to build effective relationships and providing prompt and accurate support & solutions in line with company policy and legislation
  • Managing employee relation casework (absences, disciplinary & grievance process, wellbeing, end of employment etc.)
  • Managing the HR system to update and maintain employee records
  • Coaching and mentoring managers in all aspects of people management
  • Assisting managers with recruitment, employee development and people management coaching
  • Supporting payroll with time and attendance information
  • Working closely with the HR team ensuring Employee Handbook and Policies are up to date and reflect current employment law

  • A proactive, hands on HR Advisor with previous experience in all aspects of employee lifecycle
  • Strong UK Employment Law knowledge
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Fantastic communication skills
