My client is a leading family run transport business who are looking for a HR and Finance Assistant to join the team. This temporary to permanent position will be based within the HR & Finance team offering administrational support. This position will be to provide diverse administrative support to the Director and team forward.
You will receive – HR Assistant:
£21,000 – £23,000.
A permanent contract once completed 12 weeks’ temporary.
Additional days holiday with years in service.
Responsibilities – HR Assistant:
Assist in the HR matters and organise employee development and training.
PA work in supporting SNS, source suppliers with most competitive prices in relation to PPE, stationery etc.
Maintain an inventory of PPE equipment, uniform, first aid supplies etc.
Purchase Ledger / maintaining supplier information.
Raising invoices for all company contracts / divisions.
Reconciliation of petty cash.
Desired Skills – HR Assistant:
Be able to take initiative and exercise sound independent judgement within areas of responsibility
Ability to compose correspondence from brief instructions; communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing
Background in financial figures and experience in HR is beneficial
Ability to work on own initiative
