Recruitment Consultant

Whether you’re taking your first step into recruitment as a trainee (with some sales background) or you’re an experienced recruiter with a solid agency background, you’ll feel right at home as a member of the Proactive family.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Working as a 360 Recruitment Consultant (if you have experience on a particular desk, let us know and we can accommodate you!)
• Hands on with business development
• Booking and attending visits with current and future clients
• Carrying out daily sales calls to bring on new business, including cross-canvassing for all departments
• Building client relationships and managing accounts
• Recruiting across multiple disciplines
• Building your knowledge of recruitment legislation
• Interviewing candidates and successfully placing the right people into the right jobs

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Recruitment experience would be preferred but not essential (full training given)
• Face to face sales and/or excellent customer service skills
• Commitment to provide a first-class service to our clients and candidates
• Self-assurance and confidence, with a committed attitude to learning
• A motivated and tenacious approach
• An engaging personality – a positive attitude and great sense of humour
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A full UK driving licence (or currently learning to drive)
