Test & Validation Engineer Graduate

This is an opportunity to join a successful, growing manufacturing company in Telford. The position is ideal for a hardworking Test & Validation Engineer Graduate who is looking to expand their existing knowledge and skills within a manufacturing environment. *Please note that this role includes worldwide travel 4-6 times per year for periods of 10-14 days.*

Outline of a Test & Validation Engineer Graduate;

  • Working within the Engineering department to complete test and validation of systems and equipment for worldwide customer locations, and the development of control software

Duties & Responsibilities of a Test & Validation Engineer Graduate;

  • Test and validation of systems and equipment at worldwide customer locations
  • Commissioning of system and equipment, including: System software commissioning & generation
  • System fault finding and diagnostics
  • Conducting system wide test, Inspection and Fault rectification
  • Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PC’s
  • Development of Robot and PLC software
  • Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality
  • Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules
  • Remote customer support – fault finding and diagnostics
  • Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety Issues in the workplace
  • Operate within company procedures

Skills & Experience of a Test & Validation Engineer Graduate;

  • Ability read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings
  • ‘Hands-on’ experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment

Qualifications required;

  • Degree or technically qualified to BEng / HNC in an electrical discipline or equivalent work experience
