Proactive Personnel Ltd are pleased to be working with our client which is well recognised International Commercial Vehicle manufacturer with their search for a National Sales Manager
To take responsibility for all aspects of sales volume planning
To forecast monthly targets for, order intake, invoiced sales, handovers, market share, stock, pipeline, rental quotas, and buy back quotas split by model mix as appropriate.
Daily communication with Director & Regional Sales Managers to ensure commitment to, and achievement of, those targets.
To implement short term (in month) actions to rectify deviations from committed monthly targets. To generate and communicate sales targets for each sales channel and each sales region.
Manage the weekly forecast review and identify counter measures to ensure achievement of targets
To negotiate and agree on behalf of the UK, and to monitor and control, stock levels, rental quotas and buy back quotas within defined parameters.
To monitor and optimise transportation, delivery, and other pipeline activities
Monitor activity levels, quotations and conversion rates
To implement systems and process that ensure accurate up to date information is consistently available on the progress towards those targets.
To monitor and collate data on price and price development of the complete product portfolio, including capital and contractual purchases
To work closely with sales and sales management to steer the company towards achieving its’ goals
Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure deliverance of finance targets and objectives
To control and manage any current or future profit initiatives relating to Price Development
To monitor and collate data on competitor offerings
To lead the Campaign Panel, and ensure that all stakeholders are fully included in all campaign conceptualisation
Excellent analytical skills with a logical and methodical approach
Strong and clear communication skills
Ability to influence and negotiate to a senior level
Ability to identify risks and opportunities and plan to address both
Highly organised and high attention to detail
Demonstrate commercial acumen and market insight experience
Experience in engaging key stakeholders at all levels including Director level
Core management competencies already well developed.
