Our client is a privately owned business operating in Telford for many years and are seeking a Stores Team Leader with proven manufacturing supervisory experience to manage all aspects of the stores area. The Job Role:
As a Stores Team Leader, your role will involve the following:
- Overseeing the stores team to manage work load
- Ensuring procedures are being followed and completing compliance checks
- Managing flow of materials through all areas
- Carrying out team briefings and monitoring staff performance
- Organising stock takes
- Complying to all quality procedures and participating in audits
- Managing all warehouse raking systems
- Ensuring all staff training is kept up to date
- Any other reasonable tasks as set out by Senior Management
Experience / Requirements:
- MUST have experience within a similar role in a stores environment
- Well organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
- Able to work with different levels of organisation, both internally and externally
