Stores Team Leader

Outline:

Our client is a privately owned business operating in Telford for many years and are seeking a Stores Team Leader with proven manufacturing supervisory experience to manage all aspects of the stores area.  With a competitive salary and holiday entitlement, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Stores Team Leader who is ready for their next challenge.

The Job Role:

As a Stores Team Leader, your role will involve the following:

• Overseeing the stores team to manage work load
• Ensuring procedures are being followed and completing compliance checks
• Managing flow of materials through all areas
• Carrying out team briefings and monitoring staff performance
• Organising stock takes
• Complying to all quality procedures and participating in audits
• Managing all warehouse raking systems
• Ensuring all staff training is kept up to date
• Any other reasonable tasks as set out by Senior Management

Experience / Requirements:

• MUST have experience within a similar  role in a stores environment
• Well organised and able to prioritise tasks
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
• Able to work with different levels of organisation, both internally and externally

The Package:

• Salary up to £25,000 DOE
