Production Operative

Location: Ellesmere Port
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday)

• 6:00am to 2:00pm
• 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Production Operative Required – Ellesmere Port

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, offering long-term work with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production of specialist metal products within a busy manufacturing environment, ensuring customer requirements and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating plant and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Producing metal and alloy products in line with customer specifications
• Following standard operating procedures and established production processes
• Recording and maintaining accurate production data and documentation
• Ensuring full product traceability and adherence to quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Assisting with routine equipment checks and supporting preventative maintenance activities
• Working towards daily and weekly production targets

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience within a foundry, metal manufacturing, engineering, casting, or heavy industrial environment is highly desirable
• Experience handling molten metals would be advantageous
• Candidates from other production or manufacturing backgrounds who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
• Good communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
