Production Operative
Location: Ellesmere Port
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday)
- 6:00am to 2:00pm
- 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Production Operative Required – Ellesmere Port
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, offering long-term work with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production of specialist metal products within a busy manufacturing environment, ensuring customer requirements and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating plant and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Producing metal and alloy products in line with customer specifications
- Following standard operating procedures and established production processes
- Recording and maintaining accurate production data and documentation
- Ensuring full product traceability and adherence to quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assisting with routine equipment checks and supporting preventative maintenance activities
- Working towards daily and weekly production targets
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within a foundry, metal manufacturing, engineering, casting, or heavy industrial environment is highly desirable
- Experience handling molten metals would be advantageous
- Candidates from other production or manufacturing backgrounds who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
