Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Proactive Personnel are looking for an ambitious, motivated, and driven individual to join our growing team as a Recruitment Consultant at our Manchester Branch. The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will learn every aspect of the recruitment process while working alongside experienced consultants. You’ll play a key role in sourcing candidates, developing client relationships, and matching the right people with the right opportunities.This is a fast-paced, target-driven role that offers excellent earning potential through commission and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing and interviewing candidates for permanent vacancies.
• Writing and advertising job vacancies across multiple job boards and social media platforms.
• Screening CVs and conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews.
• Developing new business opportunities through outbound calls and networking.
• Managing and growing existing client accounts.
• Arranging interviews and preparing candidates for the recruitment process.
• Maintaining accurate records using the company’s CRM and recruitment database.
• Ensuring compliance with recruitment legislation and company procedures.
• Providing exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates.

What We’re Looking For

• The ideal candidate would have a scientific background/degree in a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, enthusiastic, and money motivated
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Computer literacy is Essential
• Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, or telesales experience is advantageous but not essential.
