Wet Sprayer

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Wet Sprayer for our client based in Lichfield.

You will be responsible for preparing and finishing fabricated steel, aluminium and stainless-steel components using both industrial wet paint and powder coating systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare parts for painting through cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking and surface preparation.
• Apply industrial wet paint coatings using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment.
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray systems.
• Operate curing ovens safely and efficiently.
• Mix paints and coatings
• Ensure correct paint thickness, finish and colour
• Inspect components before, during and after painting
• Identify and rectify coating defects where possible.
• Carry out reworks
• Read and follow engineering drawings
• Maintain paint shop equipment

This is a permanent role paying £15.00 – £16.00 per hour depending on experience. To earn the higher bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all parts of the job role.

This is a straight permanent role.

Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 11:30 Friday.
